Welcome to Home Works. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Overview
Home Works ("we," "us," or "our") provides general contracting, home remodeling, and handyman services in the Austin, Texas area. By using this website or hiring us for a project, you ("the Client") agree to these terms.

2. Estimates and Quotes

• Non-Binding: Initial estimates provided via phone or email are non-binding and based on the information provided by the Client.

• Site Visits: A final, binding quote is generally provided only after a site visit and a detailed review of the project scope.

• Validity: Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. After 30 days, we reserve the right to update pricing based on current material and labor costs.

• Unforeseen Issues: If hidden damage or unforeseen structural issues are discovered during the project (e.g., water damage behind walls, electrical issues), Home Works will stop work and provide a Change Order detailing the additional costs required to address the issue.
   

3. Payment Terms​

• Progress Payments: For larger remodeling projects, payment schedules will be outlined in your specific contract.

• Late Fees: Invoices not paid within 7 days of completion may be subject to a late fee.
   

4. Scheduling and Timelines

• Estimated Dates: Start and completion dates are estimates only. While we strive to stay on schedule, delays may occur due to weather, material shortages, or change orders requested by the Client.

• Access: The Client agrees to provide clear access to the work area during agreed-upon working hours. 
   

5. Cancellations and Refunds

• Rescheduling: We request at least 48 hours' notice for rescheduling site visits or work days.
   

6. Warranty on Workmanship

• Labor Warranty: Home Works provides a 1-Year warranty on all labor and workmanship. This covers defects caused by improper installation.

• Materials: Warranties for materials (e.g., flooring, fixtures, appliances) are provided by the manufacturer, not Home Works. We will assist in providing documentation for manufacturer claims.

• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by the Client, or damage resulting from weather/acts of God.
